THE MONTHLY MOB
The Mob
Discover. Vote. Explore. Support local.
Every chapter asks locals which independent place deserves a visit. People nominate, vote, and show up as paying customers. The details belong to the chapter doing the eating.

The monthly cycle
From nomination to the next great meal.
- 1
Nominations
Members name local establishments worth discovering. Establishments may nominate themselves, too.
- 2
Public voting
The poll usually runs for about three days. Nominees can share it and rally their regulars.
- 3
Winner announced
The top vote getter becomes the featured destination. It is community chosen, not paid placement.
- 4
Event week
The main gathering kicks things off, but members can GastroMob throughout the full spotlight week.
- 5
Eat like a normal customer
Order what you want, pay your own way, tip normally, and respect the staff and regular customers.
- 6
Tell the story
Share photos, recommendations, and honest reviews. Then we start looking for the next place.
For local establishments
You do not owe us a damn thing.
Participation is voluntary and free. Everyone pays their own way.
We arrive as customers.
Members buy their own food and tip normally.
You operate normally.
Share information if you want, or simply keep doing what you do.
Honesty stays honest.
Members review only their own experience. No review bombing or manufactured praise.
The goal is a good experience.
Not the biggest crowd. Not a circus. A good experience for everybody.
Built to stay local
One idea. Local chapters.
Michiana, Central Indiana, and Texas Hill Country each bring their own places and people. Check your chapter for its latest gatherings. No dues, no fees, no secret handshake.
